Getting through your list of recurring journal entries can be rough to set up, especially if you have a lengthy list, but once you have gotten through that, all you should need to think about is posting. If some of your recurring entries don’t need to get posted every frequency, you may run into a bit of a bump when trying to post since Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central will not allow you to post a $0 line. To handle posting without deleting any of your recurring lines, you can easily filter out those $0 lines and post the remaining lines.
In your Recurring General Journal batch, if you look to the right of the screen, you should see the Filter Icon. Once you click on that, it should bring up the Filter Options on the left side. Add a filter for your Amount/Balance column, then type in “>0” and click/tab out the box to activate the filter. This should then allow you to post your batch.
