You now can ask Microsoft what you want to do in the search box on the ribbon. This new feature runs across the board in the Office 365 suite of apps.
All you have to do is type a keyword or phrase into the “Tell me what you want to do” and bingo, the tools you are looking for will pop up.
For example, I will type in the key word “Chart,” instantly Microsoft will pull up several commands or options for creating or inserting charts into your spreadsheet.
Another example, if you are looking for a formula, simply type in the keyword “Formula” and a variety of options will appear instantly. You can even see what formula’s you have recently used. It’s that simple!
Lastly, if you need help, the “Tell me what you want to do” feature will also pull help files based on the keyword you type in. I typed in “freeze” and here’s what I got.
Now, simply choose what you want to do.
