Something we have all probably struggled with is finding which fields to use on our report in Acumatica. As an Acumatica developer, I’ve learned lots of time-saving tricks. Here’s the quickest way to find the field you need:
Use the inspect element to bring up the field name in the Element Properties window.
How to Find the Fields:
- Go to Customization in the upper right.
- Inspect element – click on the field.
- The element properties window will come up showing you the data class and data field.
- This fourth step is optional: Actions allows you to go inside the field and look at the actual Acumatica code. Sometimes this will help you to find what fields are the primary keys in the system.
Hopefully this helps you save time on your next report. If you have questions or need some assistance, visit our support page for more help.
