Are you using Microsoft CustomerSource to enhance your Microsoft Dynamics SL experience? If not, you’re missing out on some great features!
This is the place to go for access to documentation, the Dynamics SL support community, software downloads and up-to-date information about your system. Access to Microsoft CustomerSource is covered by your annual enhancement plan. If you don’t have a login, you can contact your Dynamics SL system administrator or your Client Account Manager at Crestwood.
Here are a few of the benefits…
Dynamics SL Community
Post questions about Dynamics SL, search existing questions & answers, or answer questions from your fellow Dynamics SL users in the Dynamics SL Forum. Answers are verified by Microsoft, so this is an effective first step to troubleshoot problems on your own.
Support Incidents
If your enhancement plan includes support incidents with Microsoft, you can submit a support case through CustomerSource. The Crestwood support desk is the fastest way for you to get help, especially since we already know your system. But for non-urgent issues, Microsoft support incidents are also an option. The basic annual enhancement plan is calculated based on 16% of your system list value. Six support incidents through Microsoft are available for just 2% more of your system list. This can actually be less expensive for you for a more complicated support issue, because the cost of the Microsoft incidents is fixed. However, if you don’t use them, you lose them.
Documentation
How-to Articles, Install/Setup info, System Requirements, User Guides, and more… there is a lot of user information in the Documentation section of CustomerSource.
Dynamics SL Users Group
Another great community source of information is the Microsoft Dynamics SL Users Group: www.dslug.com. You can connect with fellow Dynamics SL users online; as well as, find and attend local user group meetings in your area. The annual Dynamics SL User Group conference will be held in St. Louis, MO this year on April 23-26, 2017 with wonderful opportunities to learn and network. There is an annual fee for DSLUG, but you can set up a trial membership to check it out.
While all of us at Crestwood are eager to provide all the support you need, sometimes it’s nice to have other sources of help and information. Explore both CustomerSource and DSLUG and you’ll be sure to learn something new.
